Leadership and Vision
Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Nuzhat Qaisar, Usama Dairies Training & Research Institute has grown into a trusted center for practical learning, community engagement, and rural development in Southern Punjab.
Since its founding in 2010, the institute has combined technical training with social awareness to help marginalized groups particularly women and smallholders turning dairy farming into a dignified source of income. Beyond teaching livestock management and artificial insemination, Dr. Qaisar’s approach focuses on building confidence, cooperation, and community self-reliance.
Through workshops, field demonstrations, and advocacy, the institute has cultivated a generation of informed, skilled, and socially responsible farmers who contribute to Pakistan’s food security and rural economy. What began as a local initiative now stands as a growing movement for economic inclusion, ethical development, and national progress.

Usama Dairies: Pioneering Dairy Education and Community Growth
Founded in 2010, Usama Dairies Training and Research Institute began as a grassroots initiative to build the skills and confidence of local farmers both men and women in livestock and agricultural development.
Driven by a spirit of self-reliance and community learning, the institute quickly gained recognition for its practical training model and inclusive approach. Within its first year, Usama Dairies achieved a major milestone by partnering with USAID and the Dairy Rural Development Foundation (DRDF) to implement a comprehensive Dairy Development Project, marking the beginning of its long-term commitment to improving productivity, livelihoods, and rural prosperity across Pakistan.
